Ok, so today I started (or should say restarted for the gabillionth time)Weight Watchers. So far, everything is going great, except that my starting weight is 4lbs more than when I posted my first blog...YIKES!!!
So, anyway, kids are out of town and I get to sleep in! I thought to myself, I don't have them here, so just go...go where you ask???...to the GYM. That's right. I got my butt up and went to the gym. The local gym here offers Zumba 4 times a week. It's cardio/dance workout that involves Latin and international dancing. It's the only place you can literally shake your butt and not feel silly! I've done if before and loved it. Today's class was awesome. Andrea is an awesome instructor! So, just to say, if you know of a local gym or other facility in your area that doez Zumba, please check it out. It's tons of hip shaking fun!

Meal Planning
When on a budget and eating healthy, it's important to create meal plans (breakfast, lunch, and dinner if possible). If you just go to the store without a plan, you are bound to buy more than you need. I know that in the past, whenever I started a diet, I thought I had to buy every diet food out there...only to have it go bad and waste money.
For many people, time is also an issue. I'm a mom of 3 boys, who works full time. I need something easy, but will also feed my family in a healthy manner. I'm starting WW's and also need something that doesn't involve me spending countless hours counting points. So that's were E-Mealz comes in. I love this site. You choose the meal plan that best suits your family. Pay only $15.00 every 3 months...that's only $1.25 week!! They actually have a points system meal plan for a few stores. The points are even planned out for me, too! I've been using this off and on for about a year, but will be using it a lot more from now on.
So please check it out!

Motivation To Eat More or Lose Weight
So, in a discussion I had with my 6 yr old last night, he told me "Mommy, you're fat, and you eat too much food." Oh my! My heart sank into my stomach. I've been waiting for this day when some kid down the street (which did happen,as he told me who it was)would say something about me to him, or he would "notice". But it was just the initial shock...what did he just say? So what do I do now? Do I hide in a corner and stuff my face full of Oreo cookies, or do I get off my butt and do something about it?
I definitely what to be a good influence in living a healthy lifestyle. So far, I'm not being a good role model, and it does make me upset/angry. I'm failing as a mom. So, stop making excuses and do something about it, right?!?!
So, are you currently losing weight? What's your influence? Or what is your downfall right now? Please "weigh" in.
